Many animals have adapted to the taiga's climate. Animals such as the lynx, brown bear, and grey wolf have learned to survive by hunting on animals weaker than themselves. Herbivores vary depending on the location of the taiga, but have adapted to the cold environment. Elk, moose, caribou are among some of the herbivores found in the taiga. The majority of producers in the taiga are trees, but comprise mostly of the coniferous tree.
